A fluffy giant panda named Dou Ban was filmed bathing in a pool at the Dujiangyan base of the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda (CCRCGP) in southwest China's Sichuan Province. The frisky sunbather stretched and splashed around as if preparing to welcome the weekend.

Dou Ban was born in 2020 at the CCRCGP, and her mom Bao Bao, was born in Washington, the United States, and made her journey to China in 2017. The footage was captured on the "iPanda" multimedia platform, which provides round-the-clock live broadcasts of the daily life and activities of pandas in the nature reserves of southwest China.

Earlier, iPanda also released rare footage of a giant panda called Jia Bao standing in front of a window and looking into a mirror. The giant panda stood and appeared to look carefully at his reflection.
