"The climate change issues have not been given much political attention by the world's political leaders," former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said, highlighting that the entire humanity will face calamity without resolute actions in due course.
Ban, who currently serves as chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), a China-headquartered international organization that just concluded its 2023 annual conference on Friday, told China Media Group that while scientists in relevant fields are studying the impact of climate challenges against the clock, politicians don't care much about the burning issue.
