Russian tea culture is closely connected to the history of trade with China. Since the 18th century, Russian people have been drinking Chinese tea with Samovar and pastry - you can still see this type of tea ceremony throughout the country. But, in recent decades traditional Chinese tea ceremonies are gaining popularity.
