An explosion at a cafe in St. Petersburg killed one person and injured 32 others on Sunday, TASS news agency reported, citing the Russian Health Ministry. The Russian Interior Ministry confirmed that Vladlen Tatarsky, a well-known military blogger, was killed in the incident. Tatarsky was addressing an event when a woman gave him a box containing his statue which blew up, Russian media and military bloggers said. The incident is still under investigation.
