Taiwan region politician criticizes Tsai Ing-wen's 'transit' in U.S.

A Taiwan region politician has criticized a decision by the island's leader Tsai Ing-wen to "transit" through the United States on her way to Central America. Wang Zheng, president of China Youth Development Association in Taiwan said that more than 50 parties and organizations for the reunification of Taiwan with the motherland have joined an action to oppose Tsai's "transit" as it is a severe violation of the one-China principle.
