Baghdad and Erbil reach final deal to resume oil exports from northern Iraq

Iraq's federal government signed a final agreement with Erbil to resume oil exports from northern Iraq, local media reported on Tuesday. No further details of the deal have been provided.

Masrour Barzani, leader of the Kurdistan Regional Government, traveled to Baghdad to finalize the agreement with Prime Minister Mohammed al-Sudani on the resumption of oil exports from the semi-autonomous Kurdistan Region in northern Iraq and to hold talks to settle a dispute over oil and gas that has dragged on for nearly two decades.
