A freight train from the Chinese capital Beijing, loaded with 55 containers, arrived at the Belerast Railway Station in Moscow Oblast after a 16-day journey. The first direct China-Europe freight train service from Beijing, it traveled 9,000 kilometers, carried clothing, household electrical appliances, construction materials and other goods. It departed from the logistic hub of Pinggu District in Beijing on March 16, exited China from the Manzhouli Port in the northern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and arrived two days earlier than expected.
