Pentagon documents have revealed that the United States' drone wars around the world have been marked by "deeply flawed intelligence" and "faulty targeting" that resulted in the deaths of more than 1,000 civilians over the last decade, according to a New York Times investigation. Nonetheless, no American military personnel have ever been charged or punished, and the victims still have no path to justice.

Brandon Bryant is a former U.S. Air Force drone pilot who enlisted in 2005. He told the story of a child who lost his grandmother to a drone strike. Even though the child traveled across the ocean to the United States to give a speech, it did not get the attention of American politicians at all.
