China's southern Hainan province will start island-wide independent customs operations in 2025. In preparation, the local government is testing out the tariff-free policy for domestic sales of products after value-added in its Yangpu Bonded Port Zone. Such policies are prompting more companies to invest and expand their businesses in Hainan.
