Economist: Yuan expected to rise in prominence amid 'de-dollarization'

As the dominance of the U.S. dollar wanes, the Chinese yuan is expected to increasingly grow as a major trading currency and become one of the most important reserve currencies in the world, Hong Hao, chief economist of GROW Investment Group tells CGTN's Guan Xin. He explains that this trend comes as countries increasingly seek alternatives, after the U.S. move to freeze Russian foreign exchange reserves was seen as a means to weaponize the U.S. dollar.
