Pentagon documents have revealed that the United States' drone wars around the world have been marked by "deeply flawed intelligence" and "faulty targeting" that resulted in the deaths of more than 1,000 civilians over the last decade, according to a New York Times investigation.

Brandon Bryant, a former U.S. Air Force drone pilot who enlisted in 2005, noted that no American military personnel have been held accountable for these civilian casualties. The U.S. government and army have failed to take responsibility and reflect on this issue.
