A naval aviation regiment of the Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) carried out a day-and-night flight training to boost combat and quick response capacity.
Helicopters taking part in the drill collaborated with Type 075 Landing Helicopter Dock "Guangxi." They took off in sequence under the command of the ship's control tower. After arriving at the target sea area, aircrafts established their routes to the ship according to the meteorological and hydrological conditions notified by control tower and accurately landed at their designated position.
The aviation regiment also carried out training on helicopter transfer operations after multiple rounds of coordinated takeoff and landing sessions. During the training, various battle positions further strengthened coordination and completed continuous takeoff and landing and sortie training under complex meteorological conditions, especially at night based on clear command and the sophisticated lighting system.
