Global trade growth in 2023 is still expected to be subpar despite a slight upgrade to GDP projections since last fall, the World Trade Organization economists said in a new forecast on Wednesday.

When answering questions from a reporter with China Media Group, Barbara D'Andrea Adrian, a WTO senior economist, said that China's GDP and trade growth are expected to be outstanding this year and will make important contribution to the recovery of developing economies.
