Two Democratic lawmakers, Justin Jones and Justin Pierson, were expelled by the Republican-led House for their role in a protest calling for more gun control on Thursday. A third Democratic candidate, Gloria Johnson, was narrowly spared by a one-vote margin. Hundreds of people in Tennessee protested against the action in the Tennessee House.
