China successfully launched the new commercial rocket, the Hyperbola-1 solid launch vehicle, from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China at 12:00 p.m.

This flight test was intended to verify the overall design of the rocket and accumulate data on its flight performance, being the fifth flight of the Hyperbola-1.
