Wide receiver Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins, 29, revealed that he plans to retire after the 2025 NFL season on the "Totally Offensive" podcast this week.
Having been drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs with the 165th pick in 2016, Hill has quickly grown into one of the top players in his position. He has finished 598 catches for 8,340 yards and 63 touchdowns in 108 games for the Chiefs and the Dolphins. Hill has been selected into the All-Pro Teams four times and never missed the Pro Bowl in any of the seven seasons.
He helped the Chiefs make the Super Bowl twice and win the title after beating the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on February 2, 2020. Hill was traded by the Chiefs to the Dolphins in March 2022 for five draft picks and then he signed a four-year, $120 million contract with the Dolphins.

"I'm going for 10. I'm going to finish out this contract with the Dolphins and then I'm going to call it quits," Hill said on the podcast.
"I really want to get into the gaming space. I really want to get huge in that and that's kind of what I'm doing right now. I'm using my platform to create a gaming team, which isn't launched yet. It should launch by the end of this month. I'm going to just sign different content creators, different athletes. I just been working that, talking to different sponsors. I want to do so many things in my life," he added.
The Dolphins lost to the Buffalo Bills in the American Football Conference Wild Card Game last season after finishing the regular season with a 9-8 record. They could have probably done better if their starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa hadn't been held back by injuries. The Chiefs appeared in Super Bowl LVII, the third time in four years, and defeated the Philadelphia Eagles to win the title.

Though then NFL hasn't released the schedule for the 2023 season, the Dolphins will surely visit Arrowhead Stadium to challenge the Chiefs and Hill will meet many of his old teammates.
"Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we gonna do?" Hill said. "Guess what we gonna do! I hate to say it, man. I hate to throw up the peace sign against y'all. I hate to do it! But guess what? I'm gonna be y'all worst enemy that day."
