On April 5th, 2023, hundreds of protesters gathered in Los Angeles to express their disapproval of Taiwan region leader Tsai Ing-wen's "transit" trip through the U.S. Such activities, they argued, could put the peace between China and the U.S. at risk. The protesters urged the U.S. government to stay out of China's internal affairs and to refrain from actions that could jeopardize the peace.
