Dozens of parties and organizations in China's Taiwan region launched joint demonstrations at Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei on Friday, condemning the meeting between Taiwan leader Tsai Ing-wen with the speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, and other U.S. politicians. They also called for peace and development of both sides of the Taiwan Straits as well as China's reunification.
