Aiming to build an "International Tourist Island", Hainan has been granting visitors from 59 countries and regions a 30-day visa-free stay since 2018. The whole island will start independent customs operations in 2025 to carry out a tariff-free policy for more imported products.
Visitors can enjoy the tropical scenery as well as the convenience of duty-free shopping.
