The Japanese people protested against the discharge of nuclear-contaminated water from the Fukushima nuclear power plant into the sea, in front of the building of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry on April 7. People are skeptical although the Japanese government and TEPCO claimed they had treated the radioactive material in the contaminated water so that it could be safely discharged.
