The wild population and habitat of leopards were recently surveyed and monitored in northwest China's Qinghai Province.

The important activity areas of leopards were divided into grids of 25 square kilometers, each grid was equipped with two infrared cameras, and a total of 120 infrared monitoring points were set up.

In order to provide scientific support for the protection of leopards and other wild animals in the future, the population size, activity pattern and living conditions of leopards in the past and present will be analyzed.
