The "48-zhai" scenic spot in Cili County, Hunan Province in central China, has gained more spring color, with patches of pink azalea blossoms and peaks wrapped in tender green. Due to its magnificent natural landscape, temples and relics of 48 strongholds built on top of mountain peaks, the area has long been a popular destination for mountain hikers.
