A ceremony marking cooperation in information storage and network security between China Media Group and the Huazhong University of Science and Technology held on April 12, 2023. /CMG
China Media Group (CMG) on Wednesday signed a framework agreement for comprehensive strategic partnership with the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) at a ceremony marking cooperation in information and network security.
The ceremony was attended by CMG President Shen Haixiong, CMG Vice President Xing Bo, HUST Party Secretary Li Yuanyuan and President You Zheng, among others.
Two joint research centers on information storage and network security were inaugurated at the ceremony.
The centers will help provide a collaborative platform among industries, universities and institutions, carry out original and forward-looking researches, achieve scientific and technological achievements and develop talents.
Mechanical engineering, optical engineering and computer science and technology are dominant disciplines of the Wuhan-based university.
CMG has opened the "infinite space" of media and communication with the concept of "thought, art and technology" in the past five years, said Xing, adding that a series of "historical firsts" in technological innovation have "created new records in communication."
You said that the HUST has always been committed to serving the country's development and meeting its major needs over the past 70 years.
The partnership will achieve win-win cooperation, You added.
