Every summer when the rainy season comes, the Xilingol Steppe in central Inner Mongolia is full of life.
In this episode of Foodwise, our hosts He Tianran and Fu Anqi are led by their Mongolian friend Tsogjavkhlan to explore the most traditional ways of eating and cooking lamb and dairy food and the culture behind them.
During the show, they took part in the Nadam festival , tasted authentic Mongolian hotpot and hand-held meat, enjoyed imperial milk dishes and had a fun experience of the stone roast lamb on the grassland.
