Eurasia-wide geopolitical analyst Pepe Escobar points out that the U.S. spying on its allies is nothing new. The leaked Pentagon documents reveal a known story and won't change anything. But it's perfect in terms of misdirection or changing the subject from what really matters, such as global de-dollarization, global financial system meltdown, and China bridging Iran and Saudi Arabia together.
