We Talk: Brazilian youth says Chinese culture is fascinating
President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva of the Federative Republic of Brazil arrived in Shanghai on April 12, at the start of a state visit to China. It is his first visit to China since he took office for a third term this January. In recent years, China and Brazil's economic and trade ties have strengthened.
CGTN stringer Andre has lived in Brazil for more than two years. He interviewed young people of Sao Paulo, Brazil, about their understanding of Chinese culture and history. One showed interest in Chinese cuisine and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Another said Chinese culture is fascinating, and Brazilians are being offered more chances to learn about Chinese culture through Chinese literature.
