Chinese consumers are expected to splurge on high-end beauty products this year, boosting travel retail revenues for global brands emerging from pandemic setbacks. Coty is among the many international high-end brands announcing they will open more stores in the southern province of Hainan this year, and use the island as a springboard into the Asia Pacific market.

CGTN spoke to Caroline Andreotti, Coty's chief commercial officer for luxury, at the ongoing China International Consumer Products Expo.
