Protesters on Thursday took to the streets in Japan's Fukushima Prefecture to denounce the Japanese government's insistence on pursuing its plan to dump radioactive wastewater from the tsunami-ravaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant into the sea. Some of the protesters said the Japanese government and Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) should be looking at more options in dealing with the wastewater, rather than pushing ahead with the highly irresponsible discharge plan.
