Chinese President Xi Jinping made his first inspection tour of 2023 from April 10 to 13 in south China's Guangdong Province. He stressed the importance of remaining steadfast in comprehensively deepening reform and expanding high-standard opening up, and urged Guangdong Province, a pacesetter of the country's reform and opening-up policies, to take the lead in advancing Chinese modernization.
