Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's state visit to China will further boost the confidence of Chinese ore enterprises, and many of them see the trip as a signal for more economic and trade cooperation opportunities ahead between the two leading emerging economies.
In the ore field, cooperation between China and Brazil dates back to 1973, when the first iron ore shipment from Brazil's Vale S.A., one of the largest iron ore producers in the world, arrived in China.
