Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy tweeted on Saturday that he had a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.

"I praised France's intention to further strengthen support for Ukraine on the battlefield. We also discussed the preparations for the NATO Vilnius summit and its expected results, in particular regarding Ukraine's obtaining effective security guarantees even before joining the Alliance," Zelenskyy said.
