Printed in 1640 and containing 146 of Shakespeare's 154 sonnets, this rare first edition of the bard's celebrated poetry, titled "Shakespeare's Poems," has sold for 275,000 British pounds. The finely bound volume was taken back to Britain by London-based fine book dealer Peter Harrington after it spent four decades in private collections in the U.S.
