The situation is still very dangerous, and contact is difficult, according to Abboud Abdel-Rahim, managing editor of the Sudanese newspaper Akhbar Al-Youm. He said their life had been completely disrupted, and food and water supply had been cut off. He welcomed Chinese reporters to reach out to him at any time.
