China's economy has grown by 4.5% in the first quarter of 2023. Officials from the National Bureau of Statistics said the figure shows a steady economic rebound, but insufficient demand remains a challenge. Wang Yaojing, a professor from Peking University, says that demand will catch up as domestic travel resumes.
