Military clashes continue in Sudan, more than 180 civilians killed
The military clashes continue in Sudan. The Sudanese Army Air Force bombed Rapid Support Forces (RSF) military bases near the Merowe military airport north of Khartoum. The RSF claimed they obtained missiles from a defense company and shot down a Sudanese Army fighter jet. Sudanese Army General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan dissolved the RSF, a paramilitary group, and declared it a rebel force. According to the UN envoy in Khartoum, more than 180 civilians have been killed and another 1,800 injured in the clashes.
