Lin Hui, a 21-year-old giant panda, died at Chiang Mai Zoo in Thailand on Wednesday. The cause of death has not yet been announced. The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Wednesday expressed sadness over the passing of giant panda Lin Hui. Spokesperson Wang Wenbin added that China will work with Thai experts to investigate the cause of death and handle the aftermath taking all efforts. Lin Hui arrived in Chiang Mai on loan from China at the age of two in 2003. It was a star attraction of Chiang Mai Zoo.
