The main part of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge received quality standards certification on April 19. A committee of Chinese authorities said the project had set several world records and offered valuable references in constructing mega-sea bridges. The bridge connecting three southern regions improves traffic efficiency, cutting travel time from Zhuhai to Hong Kong International Airport from about 4 hours to just 45 minutes. It also facilitates people-to-people exchanges and trade in the Greater Bay Area.
