Guanxi New Fort, located about 15 kilometers east of Longnan County in east China's Jiangxi Province, was built in 1798 and completed in 1827 by Xu Mingjun, a renowned local gentry. The nearly three-decades-long construction process had turned Guanxi New Fort into a gigantic Hakka enclosed house that covers up to 7,426 square meters, and is now one of the best-preserved Hakka architectures in China.
