The red carpet ceremony of the 13th Beijing International Film Festival was held at the Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center in Huairou District of Beijing on April 21, where more than 200 celebrities from China and abroad took part.
A total of 15 films are competing for the Tiantan Award this year, selected from 1,488 movies from 93 countries and regions. Winners of the ten categories in the Tiantan Award will be announced at the closing ceremony on April 29.
Highlighting cultural exchanges, this year’s film festival will showcase over 180 outstanding Chinese and foreign movies.
