Opponents against judicial reforms pack Tel Aviv for 16th week

Tens of thousands of Israelis have again packed Tel Aviv streets for the 16th consecutive week, protesting against government judicial reforms, which they see as an attack on democracy. The protests have continued despite PM Benjamin Netanyahu announcing a "pause" for talks last month. The government's reform proposals would curtail the authority of the Supreme Court and give politicians greater powers over the selection of judges.
