17 killed, dozens injured in police ammunition warehouse blasts in Pakistan

At least 17 people were killed and dozens wounded on April 25 as two explosions ripped through a police station in northwestern Pakistan. Multiple buildings were severely damaged in the blasts, which occurred inside a Counter Terrorism Department police station in the Kabal area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province's Swat Valley. An ensuing fire also trapped about 20 police officers. The police have launched an investigation into the cause of the blasts.
