Clashes between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces have been ongoing since April 15. At least 460 people have been killed and over 4,063 wounded, the country's Health Ministry said on April 25.

Khaled Nimr is a 12-year-old Sudanese boy. He shares his three-day experience of being trapped in his father's workplace and cut off from electricity and water due to the clashes, and how he eventually got out. Khaled says he couldn't sleep because of fear, the sound of bullets and high temperatures caused by the lack of electricity while trapped. He hopes that the clashes will end soon.
