India is set to surpass China as the world's most populous nation by mid-2023, according to a U.N. report released recently. The size of the population matters, but its quality is even more important. The working age population in China has received close to 11 years of education on average. On top of that, the average length of education for those who have newly entered the workforce is about 14 years. The population dividend in China is not disappearing; instead, a "talent dividend" is in the making, providing strong driving force for China's growth.
