Former Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf said China has played a very important role in providing needed medical assistance to many countries, especially and more importantly in the provision of the COVID-19 vaccine. Particularly its cooperation with China on vaccines made Egypt the first African country to produce the COVID-19 vaccine.
