Chinese Ministry of Public Security filed solemn representations and protests with the U.S. law enforcement agencies over the prosecution of Chinese law enforcement officers, a spokesperson from the ministry said on Wednesday.

The U.S. Department of Justice has maliciously concocted the so-called "transnational repression," fabricated evidence and flagrantly prosecuted 40 Chinese police officers, the spokesperson said.
