Editor's Note: The Belt and Road Initiative and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor have played a transformational role in Pakistan, says Ahsan Iqbal, Pakistan's Minister of Planning Development and Special Initiatives in this special edition of the Hub with Wang Guan. And the story is far from being over now that the relation is literally going sky-high with ongoing space cooperation. Iqbal discusses some of the main highlights of Pakistan's relations with China, insisting on the fact that Pakistan's foreign policy is not a matter of "either/or." He brushes off the "debt trap" narrative peddled by some Western media and reiterates Pakistan's firm support for the one-China principle. He also praises President Xi's vision and China's willingness to share its success with the world through its global initiatives. He describes China's path toward modernization as "wholesome" and says that the iron-clad China-Pakistan friendship has already been passed on to the next generation.
