Former U.S. astronaut: Cooperation in space is much more important than a race

During an interview with CGTN reporter Wu Lei, former U.S. astronaut Donald A. Thomas said he doesn't yet see a China-U.S. space race like in the Soviet era. He believes cooperation is a much better way to explore space for peaceful purposes.
