Over 1,300 Chinese nationals have been evacuated from conflict-hit Sudan so far, including some who are on their way out of the country, said Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning on Thursday.
There are still a small number of Chinese nationals outside the Sudanese capital Khartoum and the Chinese government will continue to help them, Mao said.
Speaking at a daily press briefing, Mao added that China has also assisted five countries in evacuating their nationals from Sudan.
