China has unveiled measures to boost employment and promote social development, officials from China's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council told a briefing on Thursday.

The measures include supporting companies to hire college graduates, providing financial subsidies to firms, and offering assistance to the unemployed.
