Female giant panda Ya Ya is in quarantine at Shanghai Zoo after arriving in Shanghai from the U.S. at 16:26 Beijing Time on April 27.

In the evening, she entered a special quarantine zone at the zoo, surrounded by veterinarians and the staff.

The 23-year-old panda will spend one month in the quarantine zone, which has an air conditioner and an outdoor activity area.
